“Should
I move to New York?” Astrologers hear
questions such as that one very often. In this
program, we will spend day one exploring the
various techniques of astro-mapping, which include
relocating the birthchart, Local Space lines,
and classical Astro*Carto*Graphy.
On
day two, we move to a second topic - the powerful,
but little-known synastric technique of progressing
the Composite chart. How do we track the evolutionary
trajectory of a relationship? This will entail
some review of Composite chart basics, along
with the more obvious notion of transits to
the Composite.
Finally,
on days three and four, we turn to the ever
popular Sorting Hat. Class members volunteer
to put their names in one of Yumi Richards’
beautiful hats. If your name is drawn, please
be prepared to ask one succinct question about
your chart. It might be that you are wondering
about Mercury progressing to the square to your
nodal axis. Or it might be a plain-English question
such as, “What about my career?”
Anything goes. We will sacrifice some of our
usual focus on the big, integrated picture in
order to accommodate as many specific chart
questions as possible.
This
should be a fast-moving program with some less-familiar
material and a good Uranian openness to the
unexpected. |
